Starting any company from scratch is no easy task especially in the service industry where the 'product' is technically people. I quickly recognized how important the personal touch is. Maintaining our family ethos throughout our journey as we grew proved to be paramount, possibly even our biggest selling point! Our extended family includes our staff and clients and we treat them as such even at our now considerable size. I am so happy we managed to maintain this core value.
Our experience, longevity and client portfolio at this stage speaks for itself.
My role is simple...To ensure this value is instilled into everything we do.

I oversee all the operational activities at all levels of the business, with over 15 years’ experience in the security industry and over 10 years at a senior management level. I pride myself on delivering the highest level of customer service and willingness to go that extra mile for all our customers. I constantly look at ways to develop our operational side of the business while maintaining the companies core values.

After forming Cautela Security with my husband Paul, I am proud to have been a part of the growth and development of Cautela Diamond over the past 14 years. I oversaw the acquisition of Diamond Securities in 2015 which was vital in getting the business into the Door Supervision sector, a large part of our current operation. My role in the company involves overseeing all financial elements of the business, ensuring continuity and a secure future for the company.

I have 20+ years in the facilities management industry and use that knowledge to guide what we at Cautela Diamond can provide our clients, ensuring their needs are met whilst giving the highest quality of service. I always look to proactively grow our business by taking care of our loyal client base and bringing new clients into our family.​

Perry Ponsford
Cardiff Area Manager

I have 16 years in the hospitality industry, with 14 years specialising in security. Also, I worked in the asbestos field where I carried out surveys, air testing and management of staff, giving me good knowledge of the industrial cleaning and waste management world. I currently work as the area manager for Cardiff where I ensure compliance and staff welfare.

Chris Downey
Compliance Manager

Having more than 20 years of experience in the security industry as a Door supervisor, I moved on to working around the world as a private military contractor. I have Close Protection, Security Management and consultancy experience. 10 years ago I started training for an Aviation Company where I provided training to Airport staff on Health and Safety, Security, and ramp operational duties. Currently I am a qualified SIA and first aid trainer and I ensure all Health and Safety and compliance needs are met within Cautela Diamond and its clients.
